Hey,

Is SEO Powersuite Really worth $600? or is there a better alternative? I like the looks of SEO Spyglass.

If you have a working crack a way to get it for free PM me

Thanks :)

Thanks for asking, I would like an answer for this too. $600 isn't quite cheap.

Try the 30 day trial and find out yourself if it's for you..

There ranktracker tool is actually decent and the recent beta has much better reporting, the best tool of the suite. Website auditor is weak compared to IBP. I don't even bother with spyglass or link assistant.

I don't think it's worth it.. (the question in my head was wtf it's actually worth that much?)

But I would agree and say try a trial version as limited as they are because thats how I realized I didn't like it.. It has a few useful tools that are well rounded and specialized in what they look for but still, nothing that special. I actually recently found Marketing Samurai and it seems to be much more useful plus has google keyword research capabilities.

You could always look around the forums (search or click around) to maybe find what you're looking for..

theres a crack in downloads section mate ! just need to edit hosts file and u r gud to go ! spyglass is quite gud :croc:

The reports for clients is what makes it worth it... Clients are impressed when they get 60+ page reports for each keyword.

:)

No it isn't worth it, find a crack or uses the free version as many times as possible or get another tool like market samurai.

Also their site sucks, is freaking ugly.

I'd say no, from what I've used of it. Maybe if you're a massive SEO company, but even then I can't see it being justified.

The rank tracker is the only tool I use often, and it's just a substitute for a google search and control-f. Spyglass is okay but it really doesn't tell you much... essentially it tells you to beat the top ranked sites you need to build backlinks of better quality than theirs. Real shocker there...

nah, kinda worthless software. It just organize what you can do in excel LOL.

I use RankTracker constantly. 99 if its just for you, 250 if you want to produce reports.

The other ones, I've tried but haven't really used.

I actually bought the previous version of the Suite for about $300 and I was using Ranktracker every day (before my subscription expired).

Spyglass takes forever (1/2 hour at least for a website with many links), and I agree with frostedbutts, it doesn't tell you much when it's done.

For both programs, you need good proxies, otherwise you won't get results.

The 3rd tool I only used once, it's useless in my opinion.

However, now that the new version is out I won't upgrade because even when Ranktracker is decent, it is too expensive for what it does, plus monthly fees - not worth it in my eyes.

Try the trial or the crack to see whether you like it.

Or, if you just want to check your rankings every day real fast, you can look for Brad Callen's Rankerizer. It just checks you rankings, but very fast and I think it was a freebie - or may be I got it from another forum :o).

the entire suite was on sale a couple of weeks ago-

Depends what you need the software for

For keyword research- spy fu kicks ass

to keep clients happy and the checks coming then rank tracker is nice-

Yes it does... Especially the cracked version which is free... Definitely Worth Searching

nope, no way is it worth $600. I wouldn't pat half of that. But it mostly targeted at SEO companies that generate complicated reports for their clients.

Contrary to what alot of people are saying here, I'd say if you have the money to buy it, get it. Market Samurai is ok for Keyword Research, but as far as doing in depth competitor research Market Samurai has been known to return inaccurate results (which is why they took their forum down).

The details that Spyglass gives you is totally under your control. You can pick how much data you want. You can limit it just for PR, or you can get an entire birds-eye-view of what someone's backlink portfolio looks like. Yes you can go to Google and Ctrl-F, yes you can import/export all of this data into Excel, yes you can do this or that, but the point of using this software is so that you wont have to. I dont use Link Assistant, but Rank Tracker, SpyGlass, and Web Auditor I use on a regular basis. The rank tracker is faster than Market Samurai, Spyglass shows you EVERYTHING on screen from Anchor Text, whether or not a link is alive or dead, PR of the referring domain, etc. etc., and Web Auditor can help you improve your Onpage SEO score relative to your competitors.

BTW, the pirated version in the forum no longer works, that serial is dead so you'll have to pay for it (like I did) if you want to use a legit copy.

small correction: seo powersuite trial is not just 30 days - it is unlimited :)
