No joke, SEO now feels like a mix of AI spam, shady links, parasites...

Still worth the grind or just a mess?

Little by little, SEO is evolving like everything else. And even though the internet is currently flooded with AI, I believe it will gradually become more regulated, and human-created content will regain its value.

Moved this to a SEO section for better visability.

SEO is not dead and never be dead.
It just changed its pattern. Apart from SEO you have to do GSEO, AIO to grab organic traffics.

Could you elaborate on GSEO and AIO? I'm not very familiar with these concepts.

I will write a detail guide for it but for this time GSEO is for Generative Search Engine Optimization and AIO is for AI Optimization.

SEO is harder and messier now, but if you stay consistent with quality content and ethical tactics, it still works long term.

I'm seeing this question again and again on this forum, and my answer will not change.
As long as there are searches on web SEO isn't dead.

SEO is not dead - its just more complex now. There's a lot of noise with AI and shortcuts but solid content, smart structure and consistency still work. Its not magic, just takes more effort and patience than before.

SEO’s not dead, it just changed. Old tricks like stuffing keywords and spammy links don’t work anymore.

No, absolutely not. While it's unrecognisable from its early days, SEO is thriving – just in a more sophisticated and user-focused form.

Its a combination of Voodoo and luck and spam and then more Voodoo. Some things work today for ranking ..and tomorrow dont... google catching on it faster now it seems

GSEO, AIO is he new BS from *conference SEOs* you cannot guarantee AI mention because AI will keep evolving its results unlike an algorithm. Moreover Google has turned from *directing to most relevant source against a query* to *retaining user on its own platform/s*

No one is reading a 2500 word blog post about *how to lose weight fast" after AI overview ....o_O
