Is SEO dead in 2024?

Well, every year we say this, the only chance I see this being true is heavy implementation of AI by google and other search engines which will not care about SEO and generilze all content. What I mean is that it will treat each site visually like a human, instead of trying to extract placed keywords etc, which is compared to how AI could analyze websites like going back to 1990 in computer history.

Also, why do you think SEO is dead this year?
 
Everything is constantly changing... doesn't mean it's dead!
 
I don't think it's dead, it's just that it's not as popular as before, because advertising tools have been used more strongly.
