Is SEO dead in 2024?

SEO will continue to exist as long as Google's top10 shows links to sites from natural search results.

It is possible that in the future the top10 will include more sponsored links (Google Ads) + AI-generated answers.

But, I think at least some links from natural search results will be presented by Google all the time.

I have seen people asking this for 10 years straight to be honest with you.

So short answer is no.
 
Since 2010 this conversation was started after google new core Updates And
Seo will never never dead get yourself updated and find the loopholes.. it's hard but tricky....
 
Typical SEO? Yes
Smart SEO? No.
 
I used to build backlinks to impress Google so I get ranking improvements. The SERPs are utter trash these days so I make backlinks to drive traffic. Fuck Google.
 
And Now SEO keywords strategy and "Rank Rules" has also used in many platforms, not just Search Engine, such as aMazon, eBay, Youtube, Tiktok, Ins, Pinterest and more.
So it will not be dead but be more complicated.
