Is Scrapebox still relevant?

Was wondering if it's still, in 2021, a widely used tool that is effective. Or, has it run its course?

If you're using it to indiscriminately blast garbage comment links, then it likely won't be effective, but Scrapebox does way more. It handles huge datasets better than most other tools out there, especially for its price. Here are just a few of the things you can do:

1. Scrape leads to contact for a client-based business.
2. Scrape hacked sites to offer repair services.
3. Bulk check domain availability.
4. Bulk check domain stats.
5. Scrape competitor sites.
6. Validate links from a link file to ensure the links you purchased are sticking.
7. Find broken links on sites for domaining purposes.
8. Scan a file of URLs to check for specific code (like Facebook pixel)

It's only limited by your creativity. Hopefully, that helps.

I can do keyword research for an entire site in under 4 hours with it. This would be weeks and weeks of manual work using the same keyword research method but without scrapebox. It's how you use it that matters.

I have had Scrapebox for many years and barely even scratched the surface of what it can do. It will always be relevant in my view. Custom data grabbing is only limited by your imagination.

I bought it like 10 years ago and still use it today. I have a few premium plugins I use too.

Most likely everything is going to its end, so it is irrelevant

It is still useful. It has many features, so it depends on what you use it for

Depends on whom you ask. If you have no programming skills, it's absolutely awesome. If you can set it up properly, it can do wonders for you. Follow tut videos on youtube by @loopline, for a-z on SB.

If you are a programmer, it can actually slow you down; because you would be able to create a bot in lesser time it takes to learn how to do it in SB.

I don't think this software is going to die anytime soon. They still do regular updates (according to what I have seen.. did not use it for 3-4 months probably), and it's a generic software anyway.

It's totally worth the $67 if you need SERP related automation, and proxies (and even for playing chess ) and you don't know how to code it yourself.

I make good money from Scrapebox, each month.
They don't do a lot to improve it, sadly, and aren't very receptive to common sense feature suggestions.
Even so, it's still preferrable over alternatives like Octoparse, etc.

Like someone else was saying, the data handling features are pretty great.
Even if you aren't scraping contacts, its data handling features are one of the best things about it.
You can use the Automator plugin to do things in various steps, as well, including running external scripts.
