it's 9:35pm AST Saturday, April 26 2025 .. almost a full 24 hours now and I am unable to start scrapebox ... it says its unable to communicate with the scrapebox servers ... started out of nowhere... anyone else?

Let me know if you're able to start scrapebox or not

Hey there, I think the issue might be related to the internet connection. Maybe try checking if the network is stable or if there are any firewall settings blocking the communication. Also, restarting the program or your computer could help resolve the problem. PS: It's up for me.

Ryan, thanks for all you do on YouTube. Is there any way to use Scrapebox to scrape LinkedIn?
2 things.

1 - no, scrapebox does not currently scrape linkedin. They are doing stuff with browsers and javascript etc.. now for google, so perhaps in the future, but they have not mentioned anything to me, although I also have no asked.

1.5 - what is it you want to scrape from linkedin? Because for some things you need to be connected to people (in some or many cases).

2- I have a lot of linkedin automation resources, because I heavily automate linkedin, including custom GPTs that will completley write posts with great hooks, CTAs, stay on point to the avatar, make images etc... GPTs that will carry on a DM conversation and guide them to your desired outcome and GPTs for commenting. These are not basic things, Ive got 25+ hours in just the GPT to write posts. I also heavily automate linkedin with software.

that said if you only want to say scrape linkedin for emails and your not actually using linkedin, none of the above is of any value and there is software you could try and use for this too.

anyway its a lot so don't want to hijack this thread. Drop me a DM and Ill see if I can point you in the right direction, just let me know more about what it is you want to accomplish.

can you name some of the linkedin automate softwares you use?

Hey, that's frustrating when the software acts up. I'm not seeing any issues on my end with the program starting. For server communication errors like that, I'd first check my internet connection, then maybe try restarting your router, flushing your DNS, or even briefly disabling your firewall/antivirus to rule out local interference. Could also be a temporary hiccup on their server side. Hope it clears up for you soon.
