Yes, a Reddit shadowban is usually permanent. Once an account gets shadowbanned, its posts and comments stop appearing publicly.

Reddit shadowbans arent always permanent. Some last a few days or weeks, while others can be indefinite depending on the violation. Activity and account age dont automatically lift it you often need to appeal or wait it out.

It's very likely permanent. Not always, but it would require someone from Reddit itself to remove the shadowban and in most cases they won't do that if you dm their support
 
Here's what I typed to have my shadow ban removed when I contacted support. It took 2 weeks for them to take any action.

"Hi Reddit team, I recently noticed that my posts and comments aren’t showing up publicly, and I suspect I may have been shadow-banned. I’m not sure what triggered it, but I’d really appreciate any clarification. If I violated a rule, it wasn’t intentional, and I’m happy to adjust my behavior going forward. I’d be grateful if you could review my account and let me know if there’s a way to resolve this. Thanks for your time."
 
Yes, they are usually permanent. Reddit rarely reverses them automatically over time, I think the only consistent exceptions are temporary restrictions from posting too quickly in new communities, which lift after 1-4 days
 
He is permanent yes, try to write to support and enter into a live dialogue with the admin, I was able to remove the shadow ban on several accounts.

How can one know if it is full shadowban or not ?
