Many people now search Reddit + topic to find honest opinions instead of official sources. Has Reddit become a replacement for traditional search?

I still use traditional search, but adding Reddit to a query can be a great way to get real user experiences.

I think search engines are still used for information, but reddit is used to confirm if that information is actually trustworthy.

For real experiences , reddit can feel more useful because people share detailed opinions and personal use cases. you often see pros, cons, and discussions together.

For many,Reddit beats Google now since it gives answers from real people, not ad-filled pages. While Google excels at quick info searches, Reddit shines with reliable, personal viewpoints from actual humans.

I think Google is a better source for authoritative information, while Reddit mainly consists of personal opinions and individual experiences.

Reddit is better because you find real experiences and anecdotal experiences.
For example: how to last longer?
Google will tell you bullshit like do kegels.
You look on reddit, what's your experience on kegels?
99% of people will say kegels made them worst.

So you get the actual experiences of people, so you don't have to lose time experiencing the google bullshit yourself.
