Is Reddit good for sales?

i'vepurchased ads onr eddit before, they didnt work, but id imagine if you can get a post popular it will work since the traffic is free.

I had a similar question 6-12 months ago and BHW'ers said it wasn't worth it.
So I never personally tested Reddit ads.

Tech savvy subreddits usually don't convert super well. They're made up of mostly young bitter guys that don't wanna spend money.
 
Ads on Reddit were never tested. However, Reddit is undoubtedly useful for product promotion. It is advisable to focus on subreddits that are associated with the product you are promoting and selling through natural means.
 
You need to find the right audience. With reddit is very doable since you have tons of subreddits with tons of different interests, organic works best in my experience.

Its the demographics of Reddit where the problem lies. There's a lot of young, students and unemployed basement dwellers and its really left wing biased. They don't have the income for $100 courses, where the real money is, is in renewables, green and Charites. Bullshit wow-factor heart string ads work fine in some of the big subs.

All of my accounts are aged with good karma and on a different mobile proxy. I post in different subreddits related to my niche and not all my posts are just promotions. I don't pm anyone. I just post in discussions and when I do promote I make sure it sounds real based on experience and not an ad.
 
Reddit is great if you have the right product/system in place. Especially NSFW.
 
If you grow your Reddit account organically, it will be the best platform for product promotion.
