Is Reddit good for sales?

I created a simple campaign to sell my guide on Reddit spend $100, targeted 6-7 communities like Chatgpt, OpenAI etc. Got 129 clicks but no sales.

Now I created a advance campaign added purchase as a conversion goal, targeting only one community and one country and spending only $20 to test it.

I chooses reddit due to high no of members in my desire community, but now it seems like it has more bots than humans.

I installed the Microsoft clarity to analyse the engagement of the users but it seem so bad like rarely people scrolling down or clicking on the download button.

Should I use cloacking to restrict the bot traffic or switch to other platform like native, YouTube or Facebook?

I welcome and thanks to each and every suggestion and feedback.

In my experience, organic marketing on Reddit worked better for me than paid Reddit ads.
 
Never tested Reddit ads. But Reddit is definitely good for advertising things. You should target subreddits related to the product you're trying to sell and advertise in an organic way.
 
reddit is good for sales if your product is good and helps users solve a problem. I think it would be better to do organic marketing then paid ads there.
 
Cloacking method is not working perfect with reddit but it works on other social media platforms/app and on some niches not all.

I wouldn't read the comments even if you have a great product.
 
No Reddit ads don't work. It's the worst because of its users.

I posted the same two years back asking about reddit ads. The users there already know what they want. So showing them sponsored posts in between the normal posts that they are there for will be a useless approach. As A daily reddit user visiting different subreddits, I haven't clicked a single sponsored ad showing in the subreddit.

So you think advertising on Reddit is bad idea but organic is good?

I created a AI guide, is promoting on YouTube would be the great idea, or what platform will work for me?
 
I have tried both organic and paid ways to get traffic from reddit and it converts really bad. You can expect $0.10 per click from tier 1 countries on a great offer.
 
I don't understand why pay on Reddit, you have to find the organic movement, people already know what an ad is and they don't like being sold to, they want to buy, that's the difference.

Don't forget to use the multi quote feature, these three posts could have been one and could be seen as post count inflation especially seeing as I notice those three comments coincidentally took you to 15 posts, the amount needed to send PM's
 
Yeah I would recommend going organic as that will enable you to get a constant stream of traffic. You could boost your posts and promote with ads initially to gain traffic however looking at the longevity it’s more beneficial to look at growing organically.

Reddit is a great tool to use to achieve this. You will want to use an account that has high karma and that is aged a bit. This will also help drive traffic whenever you post a subreddit.

Now for other platforms I would recommend to drive sales is using YouTube and Snapchat. For YouTube you would obviously just create a review channel of this product, then you can promote this video to social media platforms and such to drive traffic to the video that will then funnel those people who are interested to your product page.

I would just overall recommend pushing organic growth in summary.

Reddit is the best place to start mate
