Sorry for my english.

interested in your opinion.

For example i have siteA and siteB both about fishing. I link from siteA to siteB and from siteA to siteB with "fishing" anchor text.

What do you think, both of my sites should be higher in serp by "fishing" keyword or not?

Does it pass any link juice to each other? Or because its reciprocal then google think "ok, i see reciprocal link so i devalue both of these links and i don't count any link juice because it can be manipulative exchange".

I mean sometimes Reciprocal Link can be added natural. Not because of manipulate of link juice, but just natural way of linking. I mean web is global network and reciprocal linking sometimes can be by its nature.

Reciprocal link is old and they are been banned by Google as I may believe. Try guest posting nd other types not heard reciprocal from so many years.

It will give a boost in Serp, but might be a problem form Google.

I actually had to google what he meant by "reciprocal link posting", I was confused what he meant by it lol

Anyway, this would have to depend on whether or not the site you're exchanging with has any value to it at all. I mean like if you're exchanging blog posts and their site gets a lot of natural traffic, then some of that traffic will go to you as well, making it beneficial. But if you're exchanging links to a website that is total crap and is completely unrelated, then there's absolutely no point to it and it's most likely to be more damaging than not.

It's just a matter of filtering carefully. You won't get as much juice as you would from a one-way link, but if you can manage to "piggyback" some of their traffic, then go for it.

Edit:

Totally missed this part, sorry.

For example i have siteA and siteB both about fishing. I link from siteA to siteB and from siteA to siteB with "fishing" anchor text.

If you own both sites, then don't do this.

I made some experiments with my sites. For example i put link on siteA homepage to siteB homepage with anchor "abcd". Then i see increase in rankings of siteB with "abcd" keywords. It was #45 and then it becomes #10 or #5, but then if i put backlink from siteB to siteA (so its become reciprocal) then i see drop my rankings from #10 to #35.
So it seems that when google see that if its reciprocal then it dont pass as much link juice as if it was one-way link. I think it pass may be 10% of link juice of one-way linking.

I think google think like that "oh.. i see you link to each other, i will not ban you right now, but sorry guys, your links will be devalued"

I dont know may be google pass all of the pagerank juice and dont pass anchor text link juice but im sure that anchor texts link juice is devalued.

So if for example moz.com link to blackhatworld and blackhatworld links to moz.com then links nulled because of reciprocal. But google cant think that its unnaturaly because google is algorithm and it cant be sure if these links are manipulative or not.
