Is RankerX still useful for linkbuilding?

I see a lot of rave reviews on this forum about this software.
But when I go to the RankerX website, I see a boring video of 2016, no list of Web 2.0 sites for posting, no social networks, it is not clear how often the list of sites is updated and how often updated this software.
Does it really work and is it worth the money ($1000 lifetime)?

@Astraport - It's not good for tier 1, and I would absolutely not spend $1000 on an automated link building tool in 2020.
 
Automation comes with its own pitfalls, but you can use it for your tier 2, account creations etc

I have a few more questions.
1. Can RankerX register and create accounts (avatar, bio) on those resources where it posts, or do I have to do it myself?
2. If it doesn't fit for Tier1, what free resources would you recommend for such links? I can write scripts for posting on social networks (FB, TW, etc).
 
Compared to other automatic link building tool rankerx is good, it creates some high authority premium web 2.0 links by simple automatic steps
 
It's not worth $1000! It would be great if you can choose GSA SER for long term use. both does the same job.
 
Guys, you all write common truths and there are no specifics.
Where are the real cases, examples, strategies?
I asked the question above and there is no answer. I understand that it's easier to answer "RankerX is cool", but unproductive.
