Hi,
I have been getting a decent amount of traffic from quora, which is great to see. The problem is that while people are clicking through to my website, very few are actually turning into leads or customers.
It made me wonder whether this is a common issue with quora traffic or if Iam missing something important.
Love to hear your thoughts.

One thing I would keep in mind is that quora traffic and lead generating traffic are often two different things.

I have seen lot of people get thousands of visits from quora, but the visitors were mostly looking for information, not looking to buy or sign up. That is why traffic numbers can sometimes be misleading.

Quora can bring a lot of clicks, but people there are usualy just looking for answers. not everyone is ready to buy so conversions can be low unless your ofer matches their intent.

According to my personal experience, this is a common issue. Getting traffic from Quora is one thing, but getting qualified traffic is another.

The biggest difference for me has been focusing on questions where people are already looking for a solution rather than just looking for information. Visitors coming from those questions are usually much more likely to become leads or customers.

I would also look at whether the content of your answer matches what peoples see after they click. If the answer sets one expectation and the landing page presents something different, conversations often suffer.

In many cases, the problem is not the Quora traffic itself. It is the intent of the audience being targeted.

People on Quora are often looking for information, So they may no be ready to buy immediately. This can be common issue with Quora traffic. Getting clicks is only one part of the process.

In my experience, conversions depends a lot on whether the audience is highly targeted and if the landing page matches the expectations created by your answer. I have found that detailed answers, clear calls to action, and landing pages designed specifically for Quora visitors tend to perform better.

I think quora traffic is higher up in the funnel which means they are seeking information and not ready to buy yet. ill work on that after I work on the people that are ready to buy. they work together.

It depends on your goal. What I think is the best approach is to track your results. If there is no growth then focus on other channels.
