Lately I noticed how a good number of posts on the FrontPage/HomePage of BHW are about proxy services, right now I am under the assumption that the reason why there are many of such posts is that demand for the service is high (perhaps).
Is my assumption false?
Also, is there a guide I can follow to start offering this service (I am from a third world country).

Looks like it. Always a LOT of posts about proxy services trending on here and even the banner ads. I would say that most services though are either whitelabel or simply resellers

I guess I should start looking deep into it.

If you don't know how to set up everything, then become a reseller.

Can you point me to any good resources that explains how to go about it?
I can code.

Check out the marketplace section here. Most of them offer reseller plans, even if some aren't, you can simply reach out to them.
Set up your own service website and resell their services.

About 6/7 years ago I with my coder partner did the same. I still remember there was a service called squidproxy or proxies. We bought their few hundred private proxies at the start and launched our own proxy service. Whenever we get short on proxies due to demand, we just buy more from them and deliver it to the new clients.
By the way, my partner did the coding part very well. It was all auto, like handling the customer orders and delivery. All we had to do is just load the proxies in our system, and it was auto delivered to the new customers.

Yeah man, maybe it sounds funny. Most of our customers were super happy with our service (not our actually xD), and some of them told us they were using that squid service before and their support was sh*t. :D

Can I ask why you stopped doing it?

Not sure, if I still remember the exact reason, but I think they found out about it and told us we can't resell their services directly like this with our own branding. So, because of a shortage of time we stopped the service and moved on to our another ongoing project.

Various algorithms are nowadays getting beefy and tipsy. So, the demand for high quality proxies (especially 4G mobile proxies) is going up. And higher the demand, higher goes the price (as per law of economics). Therefore, I am sure that selling proxies is profitable, especially 4G mobile proxies. However, critical aspects are customer service, after-sales service and ofcourse quality (especially speed) of the proxies.
As a proxy user I do not want a proxy for US$0.10/month with which a webpage takes 30 minutes to load. Proxies are something that users are mostly ready to pay more for good quality (speed, etc).

This is enlightening. Thanks for the info

Reselling any service can become as issue for you in long run. Most likely you will remain dependent on them (Seller) for implementation of proper hardware and software solutions to keep up the demand and expectation of customers.

But if you implement hardware and software solutions by yourself (initially small) and keep scaling up as demand grows, then you will be in complete control of all the operations and could offer better services to your clients at very competitive prices.

Online I have seen proxies retailing for upto $8/Proxy which is a good value considering with proper Hardware & Solutions setup you can generate virtually unlimited proxies and sell them at competitive prices.

if you are interested in working as a reseller i can give you more information

Proxy services is very profitable, but a highly competitive market.

All the online services are very profitable. But that happens only when upy have gained trust of thousands of users with good service and efficient customer support.
