Profitable => Yes, IF (and it is a BIG IF) you have time/money/tools/knowledge to invest on it

Nothing is oversatured. More competition it means that a lof of money that can be made.
Hosting cost problem ? Try embed video. There are always a solution for everything.

Yes it is profitable if your traffic converts well. As people usually don't pay for stuff (porn), which they can get for free.

Auto blogs are dead. Well auto porn sites can work only if you can get tons of traffic working 3-10 hours per day on porn upload to other sites and spamming on some comments and social networks.
If you want to make solid passive income (and I dont mean passive like set and forget), I mean 1-2 hours of work per day before bedtime, you should create authority porn sites, with tons of backlinks, PBNs, social accounts, great SEO and great niche.
If you decide to go for SEO you should get some software to help you with longtails because that's where you can make your money.
+ you can hire someone on uploading + spamming in order to make more money

I can say yes, it's profitable, but NEED TO WORK a lot of around to get successful result.
I found somewhere a good website, with a lot of information and explanation how it's can build and make it profitable.
It takes a lot of time, some effort and some money (rent VPS, buy domain, buy scripts (all together less then $200-$300)).
Nowadays have a lot of problem about copy write protected videos, hard to embed (based on law).
Auto posting isn't the good way, need to spend time to add new videos manually frequently.

You can register a new domain (recommended to use .com tld), select a domain name unique, easily understandable, a good niche (don't start to setup an universal porn tube), use unique text on your websites, register on Google's webmaster website, upload your site map, Google will be indexing your pages, no matter is have a porn content.

But it takes much time to write unique titles/descriptions for each video . Unless you will use some kind of text spinner etc. (but I have read that Google can recognize difference between hand written high quality text and shit quality only spinned text).
