Is Press Wire a Fraud?

A client of mine submitted a press release with Press Wire a couple of weeks ago. According to them, "I can confirm it was successfully sent directly to 14,907 Computer Management, Computer Software, European Business, Financial Computing, Information Management, Information Processing, Office Services, Optical, Printing, Analysts - Software and Computer Systems media contacts, Globally."

However, I can only find 10 mentions of it anywhere on the web. Is this just par for the course or should we take some sort of action?

You have to contact the U.S> Attorney of the FBI as that is a federal crime.

Ask them to provide a list of where you can find the rest of them / ask them if there is a reason why you can't find the others. They would probably know more about this specific situation than random people on here.

Their list costs €60. So being new to using PR distribution services, and seeing the name of a different one pop up for my client's competitors, I asked others if they have any experience with this service or others like it. You know, like asking for reviews and personal experiences. Those are kind of a thing, even from "internet strangers".
