Hey Guys ,

Did a good press release which passes some tf/cf of 30+ of 10-20 website is good. Will these links help in serp or not ? Did any of you guys used any service and have seen some positive movement. If yes can you recomend me some budget is $ 100.... Please don't use this question as your advertising opportunity.

Yes. Even though some news wires have very strict standards on accepting press releases, it's all well worth it for you'll have a lot of impressions and of course, the backlinks.

Why the metrics only? I expect to use press releases to DRIVE sales to my site via the "CPA" Effect. A press release should drive real targeted traffic as well as give you good link juice. I only saw that you posted "link" metrics, which actually means little to nothing to me if it can't help draw in sales along side helping me increase my ranking. With that idea, I'd gauge the links by what effects "short and long term) they will have on my site, and buy solely based on that. I'd say that Press Release is worth $1 unless it could bring in quality conversions for your site, else its just talked up fluff garbage that is resold over and over again ...

Google listed press releases as a link scheme, stating that a release is basically an advertisement. It appears in the News section of a Google search can drive organic traffic to your website and generating brand awareness. Do not go over-board with hyperlinks and anchor text in your press releases. Using too many links makes the press release seem spammy and gives search engines a reason to penalize or block it from SERPs.

Press releases are good however you need to use professional services to have a good one. Both for writing and disturbing. If you will try to handle both via Fiverr etc then it wont give the result that you would want.

I used metrics only in the question because my site is monetized via adsense only there is no sales approach. And i am taking press release as a way to increase my keyword rankings. As the Keyword are easy and i just hope at this point that the press release will give it a good hike in the serp..

Depends on the service you use...don't expect much from those free press releases out there, which are a dime a dozen. A true press release on a platform like PR Newswire or PR Web, is well worthwhile for a real business. Then, when it is up, you can hit it with GSA.

I think press releases are very good way of getting your product or brand mentioned. It adds a sense of legitimacy and its one of the very first links you can build to your site.

I would just go to fiverr and use anyone that offers newswire & pr web submissions.

Also, include a spam email account and prepared to get bombarded by people offering pr submissions from that email you submit for publication!

I don't think press releases work as well as they did 5+ years ago, but if you have a site or event that is interesting enough to warrant a press release, it would probably help you with link diversity a bit, and you might get some organic traffic from it as a bonus.
