Do i need to also buy premium DNS when i buy domain or is it not that important?

It depends. For small sites or just starting out not as important. For high traffic and global audience websites it's more useful. You can always upgrade later if needed.

never personally used premium DNS on any of my sites but most of them never passed the 50k a month visits so that is to take into consideration!
