No its not. It's harder to work with Youtube now, but it's not a dead method.

PPD used to be booming, only way i can see it'd be profitable now a days if you play it like a numbers game and just pretty much go about spamming high a high quantity amount of vids.

Not Dead. Changed. Now People do PPD+ Other Tricks. Or Own Twists. People still Making Good from PPD. but Now a days Not Much Trusted PPD Networks.Most of PPD Handled by 1 Single Person and chances to get scammed or not get Paid are High. So People Move On to Next Big Thing..
Remember, Adsense+YouTube still Active, PPD + YouTube Still Active, PPV+CPA is also Still active. But People trend Change.

Youtube + PPD is not dead but all niches got saturated, You need to find new niche plus new techniques to keep your video live.

If you want to make 5- 20$ daily I think youtube still works, but if you aim for bigger numbers a would stay away from yt and try something different

PPC - Pay-per-click.
PPV - Pay-Per-View etc

pay per download, you get paid when someone downloads your file. You will earn $0.03 - $15 per download depending on the geo-location of the downloader.

Yes. It is.

If you have a hot niche, and can make it go viral with youtube traffic.

That being said, fake hacks and software, shit like that will get you no where.

My earnings yesterday, 100% traffic from youtube with hack/crack and software niches, youtube might be dead for most, but not for all, you just gotta adapt with the changes.
