Is PopAds/PPV Profitable?

Hey Guys,


Last week I have been doing some experimenting with PopAds. I tried different niches and landingpages and spend a few $100 on testing. Though I haven't been able to find a profitable campaign so far, my current ROI is about -80%. Because of this I was wondering if it is even possible to run a profitable campaign with PopAds. I'm not looking for your niches or other valuable information I just want to be sure it's possible to find something profitable and not keep throwing money away.


Also if you have experience with other pop/ppv networks and running profitable CPA campaigns please feel free to share.

The CPM on Popads is too low to make any paid traffic profitable. It's more or less best for established sites with traffic already. I've made ok money with popads, but I was using it on sites already getting organic traffic.
 
Popads started suddenly to send me a bunch of Bot traffic. My friend runs same campaigns with same settings and he gets alot of profit and I am getting -ROI.
 
Started testing PopAds myself got a negative ROI as well , not sure if am going to push it further . However a few friends of mine are running profitable campaings there , I guess I have to learn more how to use their network and optimize offers.
 
They randomly send shit traffic. My campaigns and friend's one are identical.
 
Have some experience. Its really work if you have your own traffic sources. If you not have your own traffic don't lost money and time.
 
Popads is a really good traffic source and the only thing it's missing is volume.

-80% ROI is not so bad without blacklisting. -50% ROI is where you want to be first, cause with optimizations you can get that positive ROI.
Also do you use any tracker? If not, stopp whatever you are doing and get one lol.

This game is not about buying traffic and checking on the other side if it backs up. It's about buying traffic for the purpose of removing the bad pubs/devices/GEO's or whatever you can track till you have a decent ROI. Remember the more you remove the less traffic you get.
 
to the sites that have good traffic already, it easily converts but to other sites you have to invest further. personally I dont use pop ads because I myself dont like the pops appearing on the page that I have opened. in fact i have disabled all pops. by this then I believe most people have done this and therefore see it as a good waste of money. Just try and experiment with other methods and the results will be better.
 
Ran some tests - the network certainly delivers the traffic. Whether the traffic converts or not is another question.

my rule is if the roi is -40% campign goes straight to the trash
btw popads is extremely competitive its like a playground for affiliate noobs so keep that in mind and try looking into different sources

You can make decent money from PopAds, but you've got to look hard for unsaturated geos. The problem is, as you say, it's a playground and first point of call from most noobs running pop campaigns.

Targeting on PopAds is great as you can really narrow things down a lot more than other traffic sources.
 
Never had much success with Popads, I usually run my offers on Admaven traffic with much more conversions.
