Content is very important. Make sure you are uploading content with good video quality and your posts will get very good exposure. 1080p video format is vital.

I think platform matters when you are trying to target a specific niche or group of people. If your content is good it will do well on any platform.

Diversifying your platforms is generally a good thing to do. Obviously content quality and frequency is the #1 thing in addition to knowing how to promote it.
