is pinterest traffic over?

Pinterest free traffic is dead, prove me wrong.

Impressions means nothing. There are accounts with 10 million monthly impressions that are making 10k clicks x months if they are lucky. I was making 3k clicks x day with just one account and 500k monthly impressions.

This is what they said because they can't say the truth "we sacrificed organic traffic because we want people to pay ads. Also we have to increase the time users spend in the platform".

The answer to the question is no...free traffic from Pinterest is not dead or over.

But...it 'aint like it was a year or so ago that's for sure. A bit like the early days of Google, where it was easy as throwing up a load of keyword stashed pages and you'd get instant rankings and boat loads of traffic. But then Google smartened up, and now see how hard it is to rank. Well, Pinterest is the same. It was easy to get free traffic from Pinterest....boat loads of traffic...for very little effort. That was then. Now, you have to work harder for a fraction of that traffic. But...it's still there. Just no-where near as much traffic as it was.
 
I still get 3-4k visits per day from Pinterest and I haven't pinned for over a year. In certain niches it does still work

Anything related to food, home & garden or fashion. In my case I have a recipes site and it does very well on Pinterest. It's been sending me tons of daily traffic for years
 
Just post regularly. You can still get traffic even u reupload someone's posts from pintrests. You can easily get traffic from Pinterest within a month. But getting conversion is a little difficult.

yes this is correct, and also gay men. the gay market clicks, they are curious and they pin, bookmark, share and follow.
 
Pinterest traffic is definitely not over.
Your account is still new and you just need a sprinkle of patience. Also you should look into how popular your niche is on Pinterest. And always keep in mind the dominant demographic on Pinterest (women)

I experimented with several Pinterest accounts in the past, and managed to grow them to massive numbers with minimal effort. But the first 3 months there were virtually no views/clicks. have some patience. Pinterest can pay off if you're in the right niche for it.

Recipe is the king on Pinterest, so yes, many mama blogs still get tons of traffics, daily, no doubt.

My bad, don't really use Pinterest analytics as I only use Google Analytics to analyze my traffic source. Here's the screenshot for "Outbound Clicks" As you can see I'm still getting daily traffic from Pinterest. Far from "dead"

This. You have to play the long game with Pinterest. SEO-optimize your pins so that they rank in Pinterest and if you're lucky, they will rank on Google as well. I'm seeing more and more pins rank on Google in certain niches.
