I believe I'm doing everything right... but no results? Doubting if I should be wasting my time and energy on the platform.

I used jarvee and promoted my shopify two years ago, posted 10000 pins. Today I have 350k-500k monthly viewers and getting sales every now and then. Now I try to promote my blogpost there, but I don't have the same success, yet ;)

is it content that you produce?

Pinterest was very popular 2 years ago.
Many journeys about it were posted in the forum but suddenly, all disappeared.
I think it became harder due Pinterest algorithm upgrade to prevent spam methods.

So you're still receiving traffic?

For how long have you been pining?
I have different accounts, one I pinned for over 7 months (with no results so I just got tired and stopped), another one for 6 months (that one has a bit of traction) and I'm still being consistent, and the rest for over a month (also being consistent).

is it content that you produce?
Yes, it's all original content.

If you mean content on the blog, yes

I have an chrome extension i use to pin from my blogs which works wonders
so you're still having success?

I'm finding it VERY hand and it's also time consuming which is my I'm asking if I should be spending my time on the platform.

Well for me its not bad ,i create daily idea pins with short videos created by me and it gets me some decent results

I once hired someone from Upwork to add the pins with my links
The results were consistent for a few weeks and then stagnated
Yeah, that's quite natural. The day when you stop publishing content on social media like Pinterest the traffic will start to reduce. The best way is to keep it alive with at least a re-pin a day, if not a new pin.

It's hard to get good traffic on Pinterest nowadays, and many spam methods don't work on Pinterest.

Pinterest stopped sending traffic to new blogs after 2018.
I worked hard for 6-7 months, I got no more than 50 visits/month
Then I focused on SEO, within four months, I started getting 100 UVs per day . After two months I was getting 10k users/month then after an year 15k users per month. (with just 16 articles)
Then I stopped working on my site, still getting 7-8k visits per month on that blog. (May update reduced traffic by 50%)

Really? How long did it take you to see success? It's been really hard for me to grow (I believe my pins are decent); perhaps I'm missing something?

Doing a mixture of both idea pins and pins.

Do you suggest I spend my time focusing on SEO solely?

they can tell if your just tryna promote your stuff. they want you to engage in other peoples content a lot

Focus on both.

This is a good practice. But as I said, do not forget these activities too - following others and commenting on others pins.

Are you using idea pins or pins normaly ? I find it that it grows more faster if you use idea pins
