I'm a noob at this so sorry. What does pinging do and is it required after doing a scrapebox or xrumer blast?

How do you ping your links? Can I use scrapebox ping to ping any blast even if it's from xrumer?

You can Do it for fast index but its not Recommended

k's of links to same site are pushed to index/crawled on same time

doesn't looks natural:rolleyes:

IMO

I think it's a better idea to let Google find your links naturally.
Furthermore it seems that pinging profiles doesn't index them anymore.

pinging does help in indexing, but it doesnt look natural to G.. So I usually avoid pinging.. but blast my site 24/7

generate a new list every week with around 50k autoapproved blogs and then use it to my heart's content and discard.

currently I have around 58k backlinks indexed out of 350,000 auto approved backlink blast.. nd they are increasing slowly, few 100' s everyday..

the site is medium high comp... nd I am currently on 4th page for the keyword in Google..while page 1 in yahoo nd bing

You can ping them or use linklicous.me
I have noticed vast improvements on some of my clients rankings.
After all the hard work of getting backlinks - why waste all that work? You could wait months for some of the to get indexed naturally. Get google to notice them. However I would gradually do it over several days. For example I have to get about 1000 backlinks a day for all my clients combined. I have one server verifying all backlinks and then adding them into linklicous. With out it or pinging many of them would be wasted.

Use the "RSS" feature in Scrapebox to ping your links. Some people say though that it doesnt look natural to ping all your links at once using Scrapebox though and think that it may actually diminish all the gains you would get from the bots finding the links "naturally" over time.

An alternative would be to use Linklicious.me which creates a "dripfeed" pinging so the bots don't find all your links at once. They have a free version which lets you submit 2,500 links per day

Thank you everyone. I will try the linklicious.me on my next blast.
