I spent the time to set up some accounts and a ping.fm wordpress plugin a few months back on an autoblog.. I really haven't noticed any extra growth from other autoblogs of similar size that I run.

Anyone have a good experience with ping.fm ? Do you think it's worth it?

I did the same when I first started and also didn't notice anything and haven't touched it since - so far I have noticed some traffic from stumbleupon.

I still use it, but I have nothing to compare my metrics to, because I spend a lot of time on each site. If you're burning through dozens of sites, it's probably just a huge waste of time. Ping.fm really only works with a handful of 2.0 sites, so unless you're actually creating followings on those sites, it's pointless, because most of them are nofollow, and you'll just go unnoticed.

thank you for sharing this knowledge, i have make an account on ping.fm but do not got good results.. plz tell me any other way..

I'm a tiny bit confused (partly because I've only recently been introduced to Ping.fm)...

Does this ping.fm WP plug-in automatically make posts from your RSS Feeds to the other social media sites that you have associated w/ your Ping account?
If so, that seems awesome!
I'll have to check that out.

And if it does & you're not noticing any added traffic, that's curious.
Are you making ANY regular posts yourself?
Are the posts that are sent out giving any real value to that/those niche(s)?

Is anything else being done to add followers/fans on those social media sites?
There are automatic tools that could help w/ that (i.e. that automatically add Twitter followers).

I think that these great tools should be used in combination with each other.

You know, add followers, fans, etc., then automatically post great content to your
pages, tweets, etc. that push traffic back to not only your Social Media sites,
but also to your AutoBlog as well.

At least, that's what it seems to me to be the thing to do,
based on ALL the massive amount of shit that I've been studying.

Hope this helps at least a little!

Yes, the RSS can be spread on all the accounts added in ping.fm!!

If you really wanna add new followers and frnds then its a +point else people will come to your accounts automatically by your keywords which you will broadcast in your content from those accounts.
