Is Pi Network really that scammy?

I keep reading a lot of hate on it - but reading through their White Paper, and doing more and more research on it I really think it has a very good base. Massive amounts of users coming in on a daily bases by now and hitting the markets in 2021 most likely. Its free, and no risk as far as i can tell, so I have a hard time seeing how its really that scammy. If you wanna check it out, please go ahead and do your own DD.
