I am working out a best way for money transfer between people on net... let me know the best you think.

Well, paypal is pretty safe except for the fact that you can buy stuff for $0,01 thats $1000 worth and pp shuts down accounts at random who are going 'to good' so it seems.

moneybookers, egold, authorize and worldpay are ok i guess. I do all my stuff with epassporte.

Ya epassporte is pretty safe, I havent got any problem with paypal so far.

Paypal is good for standard stuff. Now, if someone applies for a refund, or the credit card used is stollen or the owner cancels the transfer, (and the buyer does not have funds in the account) the seller will never see the money...but it has the subscription option, which is good for membership stuff.
You can get your money to your bank account fairly easy.

For safer transfers, I have experience with e-gold and MoneyBookers.

E-gold, no refunds, no claims, safe transfers, but hard to get funds and get money of your account: have to resource to third party processors...heard that recently these third party are not all accepting e-gold anymore...

Moneybookers, credit card verification, extremely safe. No refunds (only through direct deposit, meaning, no refund button as paypal). You can get your money back to your bank account. They have a limit for transaction (due to money laundry protection, I think), that can be increased if you verify a bank account and credit card). My favorite for safe transactions to the seller.

If you plan to offer an easy way to pay with the credit card to your clients, I sugest 2CO. They automatically verify the payments with their fraud control. Not 100% safe, but still good enough for sales up to 30-40 dollars. They directly deposit on your bank account on a weekly basis, but they need a minimum 300 dollars earnings to process a deposit.

thanks, everybody for you good information. i now have faily good idea.

i hope more people will benefit from this thread.

PayPal works fine with all simple transactions, for more advanced business you should try epassporte, I'm most satisfied with the services they offer.

yes they are safe, and they have over $2,000 protection program, means if you purchase something that over $2,000, they will make sure that you get your item/money, if not they will give your $2,000 back.

yes, everybody talk about buyer's safe.... what about seller's safety?

epassporte for me. Only used pp for shopping and for receiving payments, only used it when i have no choice. if you other alternative, go for it.

Paypal are a set of twats. They will find any arbitrary reason they can to take your money off you. Only use them as a last resort.

Paypal are law unto themselves they do what they want when they want. I've had cleared funds swiped out of my account for no reason placed back in the buyers account (who is a friend of mine) then limit his account and then send us each contradicting emails full of blatant lies. If he was someone i didn't know i would've been after his head but we could see the lies. The problem with them is they are a neccessary evil we need them to trade. Personally anything of value with a stranger goes through Liberty Reserve or western union and get that cash safe in my pocket.

I haven't had any problems with paypal. They are pretty quick to block payments if things do look "Too good". However I have never suffered because of it. I have my profits paid into paypal then transfer to the bank. It's worked happily for over two years now.

I guess, moneybookers is quite safe as far as seller safety is concerned. They dont have any refund policy and you can add your bank account by using SWIFT code which can be fairly searched on their website, so no tension of accidently providing the wrong bank information.

This mirrors my thoughts exactly. Paypal is equivalent to living in Barter Town in Mad Max...

The only thing I hate about PP is that if you get a chargeback you may as well chalk it up as a loss. Especially if you sell digital products. Another thing I have noticed is a high amount of fraud charges that come through my account. They don't seem to have a good filter for fraud charges.

we've been using paypal for quite some time now and nothing serious has happened this far.

so, everybody says, its widely accepted good way of money transfer.
