Hi everyone,
I’ve been reading about Pay Per Install (PPI) networks and I’m curious if this model is still profitable today.
I know it used to be very popular for monetizing downloads and software installs, but I’m not sure how the landscape has changed recently.
For those who have experience with PPI:
• Are PPI networks still active and profitable in 2026?
• What traffic sources work best for installs today?
• Do you prefer direct downloads or landing pages for better conversion?
I’d love to hear your insights and experiences.
Thanks!

Yes man

honestly its way harder now because browsers and defender block basically everything. if you do direct downloads you will get flagged instantly... you definitely need a landing page to prep the user. search traffic and youtube are still the main ways to get conversions but the margins are pretty thin unless you have clean files.
