Is paraphrasing important when generating an article from chatgpt?

so basically im generating a well structured article from chatgpt API and i've tried paraphrasing it, but even tho, when i check on those AI content detectors it still shows as AI, many people say that those websites are BS but i just want to know in terms of google and ranking

as long as the content is good and provides value you don't have to worry about those AI detection tools
those tools don't work openAI have claimed themselves very nice non AI written articles will appear written by AI in those tools as well from my personal testing

you think paraphrasing those generated articles is not important if the article is readable ?

logically if the article is good it shouldn't matter but you are better of testing at yourself try some paraphrasing software or try running your article through Google translator suffering through few languages then coming to your actual language of article

test few articles with paraphrasing try some with google translator and some raw out of the AI to see what works and what doesn't I have always heard mix results from people were some suggest you need paraphrasing and some who had better result without any paraphrasing I think it all depend on the quality of your article

I always did everything without paraphrasing but then again the majority of the AI articles I generated was before chat GPT was open to the public

thank you for your reply sir, and as you said i should try with both and test out if google will eat it up or not, im not paraphrasing using a web platform but a model with python from hugginface

probably better but I still believe most of the good paraphrasing software out there have some sort of fine tune model themselves
test things out with all the method I suggested and also with your hugging face model as well that's the best way to go about it

The quality of your article will go downhill if you paraphrase. Chatgpt is one million times better than them that you shouldn't have to worry at all. Most rewrites just swap synonyms. Nothing special, it's all garbage if they are not using some sort of GPT or DL models. If it just swap synonyms and nothing more, forget about it. It's most probably bs.

no it doesn't just swap synonyms it refmodels words, let me post post an example here:

original:
The best fabric for a duvet depends on personal preferences and needs.

paraphrased using the module:
Personal preferences and needs can affect the fabric used for a duvet.

as you can see here it kinda changed the sentence thing but it kinda lost its meaning so it needs to be manually edited after the paraphrasing

How does paraphrasing will make it human like? It won't. You have to edit it yourself if you want it to sound like human like.

Secondly, the AI content detectors are crap. None of them work correctly. So, ignore them and instead of paraphrasing, give chatgpt prompts for writing better than generic articles.

Im not tryin to make it human like but just to avoid getting duplicate content, since chatgpt can repeat itself for multiple users no? Im tryin to have a three process. chatgpt -> paraphrasing -> human editing, paraphrasing is just to have an extra layer of safety

ChatGPT mostly rephrases everytime you instruct it to write about a topic. So, that's not the issue. You can just human edit it.
 
My guezs is check for plagiarism instead of AI text. You can generate article that are 100% human (zerogpt) using adequate prompts
 
I recommend personally editing the content if it likes the engagement tonality you might need. If not, then maybe keep it as it is. As long as the article is informative and covers all points needed without being vague, you're goofdto go. Just make sure sentences are somewhat short as to not affect your readability score
