Yesterday i have searched for a keyword and i analyze top 10 websites. I found outbound links are plays a important role. Do you guys agree on this? If yes, how we can organize outbound links?
I never maded a test..but probably i will do... I am thinking in pick some micro niche sites or sub pages...add some outbound links and see if this can cause any movement.. But even if this has value...i think it is prety low....
Each do-follow outbound link can hurt your internal PR flow but they can also be seen as valuable content.
Outbound links are important (I think). Yes they do leak PR to another site but how natural is it to have a site with no outbound links? It's not what a "normal" site would do. It makes your link profile more natural having outbound links. I always have a percentage of followed outbound links to authority sites in my niche (not my competitors) and they are never site wide (never in Blog Roll) just in a post usually about an ineresting news item.
Link to wikipedia for the boring stuff. Something like click here to read more about pi. Link to properties owned by G if you feel a link is needed, leave it dоfollow, never use good anchors, never overdo it. If you still want to link to somebody else make sure it's 100% wh, 40% dоfollow, 60% nofollow. Makes you look like you care for a better internet.
Outgoing link anchor text definitely has a role to play in rankings. I remember one brief iteration the serps when you could rank for anything based on your outgoing anchor text. Obviously they toned it right back now but it's still almost certainly a factor.
