Is https://www.buy.ooo/ really offers free domains with the extension .ooo, or I have to purchase paid product to active the free domain?

But when I changed the nameservers, and added the domain to my server nothing happened after couple of hours, so I was wondering do you have up and running site with .ooo extension? without having to pay the paid product

Yea it's free, though just a heads up that they renew at about $25 per year. Luckily buy.ooo doesn't require a credit card on file at this time so no need to worry about them all renewing on you. I'd take advantage of this while you can.

They may have longer DNS propagation times, it can be up to 48 hrs with some registrars or you haven't cleared your cache.

It's a promo on that particular registrar, otherwise the extension costs money, more than .com, it's nothing like dot tk. Back then i registered more than 100 .webcam domains, when they were free on AlpNames, i still have 30+ out of those to present day. If someone wants a free domain which is not from Freenom, it's the right time to get one.

1st year is free, and then after approx 30$ per year (may be lesser or higher). If you want a temporary domian, then its good choice, but if you have planned for long term, its very expensive.
I had to see what you meant as for me OOO = out of office lol
You could use them for spam (or get cheap $0.50 xyz) but no other value in it.

Takes up to 48 hours. I'm just seeing mine come through from Wednesday (got over 50 of them).
