I wanted to try onlywire but wanted to get some reviews of this service and if there is something better than give a shout out ya know. Thanks

I love it. Its automatic backlinks and social bookmarks! Whats not to love?

Plus I bet people are more willing to click tweet or reddit if they see the count is not 0. I dont do the manual captcha part of Onlywire just the automatic part
 
i used it on 2 of my blogs. its good becuase it gives you automatic backlinks whenever you post but still you have to enter captcha for sites like digg, reddit etc.
 
You are using the same account to bookmark the same blog, over and over again... how valuable is this?
 
It's a great service, and even better if you setup multiple Onlywire accounts that link to multiple social bookmarking accounts.
 
I've used it, but didn't see any backlinks come from succesfull submissions.
 
It used to be great, these days the success rates are pretty low. I think the dev team got lazy over the last 6 months or so, they don't really keep up with updates from bookmarking sites.

I do, but the problem is that there is a limit to how many you can bookmark... i find this useful at the beginning, but after a month it loses its effectiveness for me... but that's just me, i hope someone else can post their opinion

Also it takes up a lot of DB space...
 
Thanks guys, this has been very helpful. I think that BMD is the best solution out there but if you guys know of any supplemental solutions that you use with that software let me know and what kind of success you are having. I think it will be useful for everyone. :rolleyes:
 
In general, I like the Onlywire service. I use it with the Wordpress plugin they provide. This automatically submits new posts to their service without having to do it manually. The problem I have with it is that it does not work with any type of autoposting service (or with "scheduled" posts). I have talked with their tech support. It is a know problem and they have made no commitment on fixing it.
 
I have been using it since Nov. and will keep using it on my blogs.
 
Onlywire is a handy tool and is good to have an account there, or many different accounts.

Automaters will recommend one account per autoblog. But they are comfortable with outsourcing and have means to do so, which many do not.

I use onlywire to index pages that are not being indexed. It always works for me.
Jumptags get's indexed first usually, and then a day to two days later my bookmarked site.

So maybe you could just use jumptags! I haven't had time to experiment.

What ratio do you recommend to the amount of blogs you own?

When setting up a blog should an Onlywire account be set up at the same time so if you have 20 blogs you'd have 20 Onlywire accounts?
 
The days when onlywire used to be useful are long over. Someone said it right, the dev team became too lazy...
 
Is there anything similar to onlywire?
