I feel like the only way to get top 1% is to be a celebrity or something now.

I would defeinitly think so that there is a saturation but young and slim girls always get a subscription.

Also there is a counter-movement from influencers, calling a of payer a simp, to discourage the behavior of having a only online prostitute as replacement for the real action.

I know nothing about that industry, but if it's similar to others online, saturation most likely played a role in the issue you're claiming. It wouldn't mean it's dead of course, just not as easy as it used to be.

It isn't easy for an average-looking girl without a following to make decent money on the platform...

That's why OF agencies exist.
 
It's saturated, but that doesn't mean it isn't profitable. And unless you're looking to make tens of millions, along with all the goes with it, because there's a lot more to do to compete at that level, then probably not - unless you got something really stellar, and can bring in the crowds. If you're happy with a few notes relevant to work put in and content, then there's always room.

There's a market for everything.
