I understand that Google love original and unique content. I am running several blogs and I want to know how often do I have to update my blog? Is one article a month good enough?

They will be SEO optimized and keyword rich. Advice please!

I think you better do 1 article per week. G loves updates.

1-3 weekly is good. once a month is near static website.

It really depends on the type of website, the niche etc, but the majority of websites should be updated more than once a month.

If you don't have time to maintain them all, outsource article writing and concentrate on seo etc, so that they're profitable enough to cover your expenses. Then you can start building more sites and start the process over again with them.

Like the others said: at least once per week is better than once a month. Multiple times a week would be fantastic, if you can do it.

2-5 a week is what i usally go for so far its been pretty good

One article is way too less. I've been doing about 5-6 per day, and have remained on the safe side. That's what I have been doing, and so far recieved no problems.

If it's great content then 1 a month would work fine but if it's just a w/e one then your best to do 1-3 a week

It depends what your site is about, and how many articles you already have there.
In case it is an old site, authority (150 plus unique articles on it already), you will be fine even if you add no new articles next month.

But if it is a smaller site, or a new one, etc., then it is a different story of course.
Anyway, new article means new visits and improvement of your blog for visitors, that's why you should write some time to time, doesn't matter if it plays role on general SERPs or not.
