Is nTLD treated the same as gTLD?

Let's say you have .com and .blog domain would both of these domain extension rank the same on google if they have 0 backlinks? just asking cause the keyword I want to buy isn't available for .com but available on many nTLDs

For SEO extension doesnt matter a lot, in fact gtlds can help you get very strong keywords like you realised.

But the big problem is that domains other than .com might not be as easy to market as a brand. Its hard for your users to remember xxxx.someshit, so things like .blog are a bit harder to promote online as a brand, regardless of SEO or backlinks
