Is not having kid a good decision?

it's the best decision if you don't care about what society thinks about you and won't regret it in the future. But I always seen having kids is a bad investment, you do everything and return you get nothing, you spend your whole life and spend money, what you get in return. its best to save money for the future and enjoy, no responsibilities.

I see people having kids and don't have food to eat, I don't know why they have kids if they can't give a good life and good education.

If you took this decision and able to convince your wife, you are awseome brother. Dont listen to world just do what you like.
Lmao did you just compare having children with investing?

Yeah my daughter was a pain as a baby she wanted formula and always had colic, so constant crying all the time.. I went to teach a martial arts class and my eyes felt like they where dragging on the floor and this experienced father came up to me and without knowing said:

"your kid has colic? forget class tonight go to shop buy SMA.. thanks me next lesson"

it seemed to be a heavier formula! That night best night sleep EVER!

Son we just put him on formula from day one, didn't even mess around.

As for him being some kind of evil ruler.. yeah few people told me the same thing about different boys being the same but I do think mine has it in him to be some kind of world ruler lol..
Yeah, colic is a common problem. We also used to use a medicine called colicaid (or something like that) whenever he had such issues. Now a days, we rarely need it, since he has shifted to solid food mainly.

Actually it's opposite, living at great place with incredible surroundings and people.

Just introspecting my thoughts and trying to relate it to actual parents feedbacks. Ofcourse, I will make a smart move and might never regret my decision. I have a gift of YOLO for real, lol

World is one weird place, but yeah I see what is it about down the line. (thread)

But don't be so sure that is opposite, it is just the surface. Analyzing is complex. Devil is most lovely image you will see at this planet.

I can see where people come from not wanting them. They are a huge impact on financials but I don't think anything comes close to how it enriches your life.

The things they do that you can be proud of really beats anything you can buy with money. (I'm pretty comfortable with money too and nothing I've ever bought has ever come close to beating the enjoyment I get with my kids)

You'll have a family to do things with (camping, hunting, fishing, trips, sporting events, etc.) compared to just being either alone or with a significant other for the rest of your life. Some people are ok with that and that's fine for them. But I think they are missing out on the wonder and joys of living a fulfilling life (in my opinion of course).

There's no right or wrong answer. You do whatever is best for you and what you feel is right.

Don't forget if you raise them right they will also help take care of you in the future when you get older.

If you love other kids and think you can be a good father then why not produce your own kid and give your kid love, warmth and good education. The satisfaction cannot be explained by words.

Get 5-6 kids, secure your senior days ..

Anyway, kids are the best, you will not regret it .. And it is fun to make them to, as a bonus .. =)

.

I‘m a mother of 2 (yeah not the majority here:D) but it is absolutely okay not to have children. Really. My kids are the love of my life but I think my life would have been good, too if I chose not to become a mother.

I also believe the OP has to make his own decision.

Planning to NEVER have a kid

Just woke up and first thing I see is this...

My daughter and wife went for a walk and somehow everything is empty to me.

I can't imagine life without them!

You will make the biggest mistake of your life by thinking that way, because if you think like this, none of what someone writes to you here will NOT affect or change your opinion.

Is it hard?

Yes, it is, but...

That pain you feel for your child is something abnormal, but that is also why one beautiful thing is something indescribable!

Please, don't waste your time and get in action with your wife ;)
It makes me really sad seeing this, honestly...

I understand this feeling of love. On the other hand there are so many children who live miserable lives and have parents who never planned to have them. I see too many of them and my heart breaks every time. My only advice would be to listen to your heart, OP.

Oh yes, I understand you completely on that part of the story, and I know personally and from stories lots of them, children suffer out the most.

its all made up bullshit, everyone has their own explanation.
you need a trigger (kid) to become more responsible, joyful, happy or whatever, why cant you be all that without them. wtf is this.
I would just love and strive to keep my energies, body and mind at certain level that being joyful, alert, aware is so easy and all kids just feel same to me unless they are always crying type.

IMO: Your wife is your kid, you are the kid of your wife. this will make you both happy. Instead of cleaning the baby's bottom and waking you up in the middle of the night plus more life expenses and responsibility.

We were told we could never have kids, which was fine as we were both very happy with each other. Built our lives around no kids, aka 2 seater car, extremely non kid friendly house, amazing holidays, partying till we dropped etc. 8 years later, miracles happen and surprised the hell out of us, another daughter 2 years later and I cannot imagine my life without them.

19 years on I can tell you that they will change your life, they have to, your focus is them.

So if you decide to have kids, make sure you are ready so you do not resent them, if you are not ready to change your lifestyle, wait till you are, it is not fair on your kids otherwise.

Kids bring you highs and lows, just as you brought your parents highs and lows, make sure you are mature enough to support them through the lows and celebrate the highs. It is not as easy as it sounds!

Best of luck in whatever you decide.

Just had one, as cliche as it is its undescribable. The joy they bring. With it you get responsibility out your ass. If your a good parent everything you do is with them in consideration. But makes life worth living.

I would recommend having children for people who are able(housing, food and money). These are main safety nets but there are a lot more. I have friends who brought kids in the world to better their relationship together, it actually makes it worse.

I love kids and plan on having two and enjoying them!!! They are really fun and wonderful best friends.

OP was looking for comments from other people who are experienced in this. What I said in my post was my personal opinion. Every one is different. Some need kids, while some other may need a line of coke. It's personal "taste". So, your "wtf is this" was not warranted.
