Is non responsive theme bad for SEO?

Thanks guys for your opinion!

Because responsive design is trending and mostly talked with SEO, I just wanna get the idea about it.

I am not a fan of responsive design because of the heavy codes usage all over the places. In addition, even though it's flexible with any screen sizes, the loading speed is still the same or even slower on small screen devices.

I think I just stick with PC version and mobile version of my site.
