Is No-Follow links effective?

I made more than 100 No-Follow links to my website but all of them are 1-5 PR I mean High PR Backlinks do you think that these links is going to give me some good results even if they are
No-Follow links?

Sorry if I had any mistake in writing as I am not a native English speaker.

Having a good diverse of links from no-follow and also followed link's will help you out! I have seen no follow links passing value even tho people say they don't. It depends if you got this links all at once or over time. i have seen when i get links from no-follow over time they seem to pass value but when i have done it where i got 400 no follow links all at once to see what happend and i dropped rankings for about 2 weeks on page 3... but over time.... rankings will increase due to building no followed links!!! That's just my experiences im sure many people will have different views! :)

They are "effective" but not as effective as do-follow. If your competition has a lot of nofollow backlinks you can outrank them by making higher quality or more nofollow backlinks, or making just a fraction of the backlinks but as DFollow.
So if you want to rank whatever competition you are facing on the first page of google, nofollow or do-follow improvements depends on their strenght. Dfollows are always better than nofollows.

If you have a lot of nofollows it will be easier for competition to strenghten their SEO and outrank you with just a handfull of dfollows. Its the key to diversify ;)
 
They are not effective like Do follow links but they are important part to support the Do follow links. your link building strategy must look like natural. and for this you need no follow links for sure :)
 
it won't be effective like ******** links but having mix of links ******** and nofollow good

Anyone who says 'they know' is speaking out of their (you know what). We don't know how Google does everything it does. Everything here is an opinion or an observation, but not a fact. We only know that it is more natural to have no-follow backlinks in addition rather than only do-follow backlinks.
 
The number of links per day depends on a lot of factors including your domain age, ranking, competition, current PR, etc. If your domain is newer, I'd say take it slow... you can always step up linkbuilding as you go.
