Since you're starting Namecheap is ok.
Problem rises when your traffic grows OR Your products increases.
Shared hosts limit traffic and inodes, so check beforehand if it suits your need or not.
If you can afford I would suggest go with a VPS, like cloudways managed VPS service.

If you have a basic WooCommerce store with few products, plugins and visitors, yes, NameCheap shared hosting will be enough.
However, if you have thousands of products, dozen of plugins and a lot of daily visitors, you should consider a VPS.

At the moment I am using the services from Namecheap. I've been with them for 1.5y now, since my web shop is pretty fresh.
I've had not more than 3 problems with them in this period and their customer service is always kind and helpful. All of the times they extended their "jurisdiction" and helped me outside of their duties.
As a user of shared hosting as well and having around 20 products, I am pretty satisfied.
I grow a blog as well on the website, and the visitors I have seem to be happy
My suggestion: Go for it!

Starting out, yes, Namecheap hosting is fine for what you want to do. It will likely support whatever e-commerce you're going to be doing. Depending on how successful your site becomes, you will want to consider upgrading to a VPS to have a little more control over resource utilization (i.e. for handling traffic growth). But that's a lttle way down the road...so don't worry about that yet
