I just have a funny feeling that they intercepted my account. Since my bots are running the usual requests - but i notice few people are responding. I noticed that there is a new section 'spam requests' appeared in the column. Is it possible my friend requests are just being auto binned?

Has anyone found this? Normally the response of friend adds is pretty immediate. I never go anywhere near the limits, but am just paranoid. How to get around this?

Im having a problem aswell. About 3 days ago I requested about 800 friend requests(sending 200 a day). Out of the damn 800 only about 30 accepted! I think myspace is cracking down!

Bump.. I've had this problem also..

Anyone know whats up?

That would suck man if they are going to spam...any other good social networks to do mass messaging?

I'm running into the same problem...seems like a universal crackdown that's going on

I haven't really noticed it. How many pending requests do you have? I have around 4,000 -- though I have a music account, so myspace might regulate it differently.

Maybe people just don't want to be your friend. It's sad, but that could be it.

The 10th friend request has a captcha, and FBP seems to freeze up and can't bypass it. Looks like they've caught onto that...

Is everyone doing this from a music account or a regular account?

LOL obviously you haven't done a bit of bh marketing in your life.

We're not on here trying to be myspace celebrities, we're spamming the crap out of them, and they do buy into it.. and yes guys I'm noticing today that there does seem to be some kind of way myspace is detecting because the friends are not adding up like they should.

I'll create some new accounts and double check this

Ok from my tests today, myspace seemed to have been tracking me by the 'short note'... apparently I was sending it to many people, I turned it off and now its looking more natural again. WHOA!

this only applies to friend requests and not mass messaging?

and mass messaging doesnt require a friend request, no?

They have a spam box for messages too, messaging is a whole diffirent game on myspace then friend requests.

No, messaging doesn't require a friend request, you can send a message to anyone.

OK I GET IT:

Myspace can be alerted to mass friend requests by filtering if you add people with the same repeated short note.. solution - don't put a short note in.
Although i have turned it off, it still doesn;t seem to work so well :( it seems my account is just flagged and thats it. so i will concentrate on building a few others . Anyone know how long it takes for myspace to start IGNORING YOU AGAIN?

I don't know how long until myspace ignores you, but in regards to your account being flagged, your probably correct.

I remember the 'your page might have been phished' or 'enter your email to prove your not spam' they use to have(dunno if its still there haven't noticed)
Well, I'd always enter my emails and then it seemed like after that all messages, requests were getting ghosted.

SpyderX reports the following:

The default delay for sending friend requests, comments, and messages has been changed to 0.5 seconds (from no delay). It appears MySpace has made some changes that may automatically mark sent friend requests and messages as spam if they are sent too quickly.

My messages are still getting filtered to spam even with a 25 second delay.

How many of you send out links in your requests/comments/messages?

My delay is set to 5-6 seconds and everything is running smoothly.
