- Stay away from using fake testimonials. They don't fool anyone, especially when they all look like they've been written by the same person.
- Don't go down that "we offer every service" road. I did that when I first started my business, only to quickly discover that it's better to just pick a few services and stick with those (for example, I don't offer social media services because I have very little experience in this area).
- You might want to spend more time doing SEO for yourself before you work with clients (especially B2B clients). The consequences of destroying a business' site can be more severe when compared to ruining your own site.
- Treat your site as an example of what you can do; that is, rank your site in order to show proespects that you know what you're doing.
