Hello folks

Lately I saw some strange behavior in my computer.
first of all I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed, and for some reason every time the the Web Protection disables by itself, sometimes just a few seconds after I enabled it.

I tried to scan my PC using MalwareBytes and it showed that the scan ran unsuccesfully.
Sometimes when I click on my mouse, it just doesn't click at all, although the mouse doesn't look broken. Maybe it's just the mouse.

Do you think my PC is hacked and I should format my PC?

When in doubt, a format usually helps.

Although, I'd try swapping out the mouse and reinstalling the A/V first, just to be sure.

If AV,FW is disabling it's features by itself then in most cases it's something inside ;)

I do clean install on OS, install AV, + More advanced FireWall, keep all up to date (patches) and in most cases for Downloading files I use virtual machine... as for web browsing disable scripting because in most cases it's webbrowser exploit what got you.

Create a Microsoft Essentials bootable USB. Boot the USB on your computer during start-up. This detects the possible malware or virus that you have before the system even completely boots up.

yes your pc is hacked your house is gonna explode. ... on the flip side tho your antivirus software is useless against new virus code... it only protects you against script kiddies that copy and paste virus code. If any real hacker wants your pc you will never even know you are infected.... just saying...

Format should be a last resort, but make a full backup ASAP and maybe uninstall MalwareBytes and then reinstall either that or Microsoft Security Essentials.

Once I had similar problem. Threw my PC throught window - problem solved.

jokes aside try disabing Malwarebytes and installing Kaspersky: 30 days trial

A quick scan will show all spyware, malware, adware etc. if you have any

True story, a smart coder can bypass AV's easy ! :) A friend once told he got private RAT's running for years undetected by various antivirusses

formatting your pc should only be your last resort. Try a system restore maybe,
It will remove your previous installed software that might cause your problem.

Hope this helps. Best of luck.

well don't format your pc for this crappy virus...

First try uninstalling malwarebytes and any other AV you are running, install Kaspersky total security 2015 let it boot scan.
Also try replugging the mouse maybe the wire isn't plugged correctly...

Whenever i dubt i pickup some virus, logger, or bot i just format OS.

One hour of job and the best secure method.

If you dont want to reinstall your OS, you can try to run another one in virtual box and scan the C drive

Try downloading the AVG 2015 free version. It is really good at finding out anything malicious. In case a lot of OS files are being replaced by the malicious files, you may end up re-installing the OS along with a format. Try AVG 2015 first & see if it solves the problem.

As others suggested when in doubt wipe the thing with a reformat. After you finish re-installing everything make a full partition copy using copyzilla that way in the future you can do a fresh complete install in 10 minutes or less.
