Quick question, am I unlikely to get penalized if I do the following?

Main moneysite <--- New domain, different host <---- Web 2.0s <---- contextual backlinks/social signals/etc... <---- spammy links

If I am, what's the best way to link from my new domain to my main moneysite? I don't care about ranking my moneysite, I just want to pass the traffic onto it from the new domain/diff host and have that traffic purchase a product I'm selling.

Thanks!

Yeah, it's relatively safe but that is a pretty crap tier system lol, you are losing link juice each step of the way. Especially pointing spammy links to social signals when they're nofollow anyway. You'd be better off if you just created PBN's (properly) and ranked your site, a lot less time and effort too. New sites also take time to start passing any type of juice IME.

If you want to be super safe, and this is a long term, quality money site I might suggest buying some high authority links from news/blog sites that are well established and then using them as parasites.

What do you mean by using them as parasites?
I also agree that it's better to build strong PBN for your money site. For me, I don't know what to do after having one and linking them to the money site and keep building contents on PBNs.

The way you have set out your link tiers, it looks pretty legit.

The key here is to try to make sure that your backlink sources look as natural as possible.

I see where you're coming from, we're talking about buffer set of websites to protect your money site, but the best filters for this are realistic and natural looking web 2.0 blogs.

I hope you can see where I'm coming from as far as making sure your web 2.0 content and backlink footprint look as natural as possible.

If you do that, then you are properly protected.

Unless, you are interlinking your tiers in a very unhealthy way.

I already see the structure you have set up falling apart anytime soon.

Instead of using new domain, an expired domain with existing backlinks would reduce the need for more tiers.

You are just looking for the traffic on your money site, then getting a new domain and with great back links it will be really a slow process to get traffic soon.
Get an expired domain which has the quality back links and create a content related to you niche, use social media sites to promote and also for getting more number of traffic.
Make sure that before buying a expired domain,it should not contain any spammy links.
Only focusing on traffic is easy by getting exact matched keyword, quality content with exact matched title.:)

I just want to pass the traffic onto it from the new domain.....

This sort of pyramid backlinks.
With what tools you build it?

Thanks for the input guys. I'm aware it's a short term solution, which is all I need for my situation as the keyword is worthless in a month or so :)

I started on my plan and it looks like I'm ranking up pretty fast. I just hope everything is indexed in time for the product launch at the end of the month that I'm hoping to capitalize on...
