Is my email server set-up idea correct?

Get Virtual Private Server hosting. Install ubuntu or centOS as a web server, install either Plesk or cPanel, then install Interspire. Is that correct? All advice/ help greatly appreciated. Thanks PS I know that Interspire needs several major tweaks but essentially is my workflow correct?

I personally am not to sure but I payed someone to set it up for me, it cost $15 from freelancer.com

ok thanks. I guess I can always pay but id like to learn as well. I think that centOS is a better choice, i.e. ditch Ubuntu.

OK - ive changed my question cause it was a bit dumb to start with. Am I correct in thinking that VPS for the most part ALWAYS comes with linux (or windows) hosting and a control panel?
