I started this blog yesterday and i've been getting some rapid fire traffic from google.....nothing special, just some articles I wrote and some simple SEO.

What should I do with this blog ? Monetize it and keep adding content or should I just sell it ? I'm sure someone will take this for at least $200.....as long as these visitors keep on coming.

Stats:

over 100 visitors coming from google alone....yes I made this site one day ago...less than 36 hrs.

You can sell it on Flippa if you really have a good sales pitch. If haven't selling a site in Flippa before I think you need to gather some experience. Build your site and more contents, seo and rank it then add adsense or cpa or any affiliate related to your niche. Then after three months you can easily sell it on flippa.

You just started a blog yesterday, and wanting to sell it??

The loss is yours. Hold on to it for a few months, or even years. Buyers these days are not stupid. If your traffic is heavily relying on G, then what happens if your site get slapped?

Make it social, integrate social media, be active on twitter and facebook. Monetize it (don't rely on adsense), sell some ad spaces, etc. Ypu'd want a good chunk of your traffic coming from referral.

Thanks guys, the content that I have on this blog is great for the next 2 years, just because it has the keyword 2013 inside of it.

So I guess I should monetize it and keep the thing....

Make it so that it gets 500 UVs a day and then flip it in flippa. That is your best bet.

Be patient. The rule of blogging is that Patience and Perseverance leads to success. Hope your blog keeps growing.

Btw I just had a question. It has been just one day since you started the blog, why are talking about selling it.

What tracker are you using there, as most of those trackers will show pageviews from robots as well, so your real visitors may be only 10.

Still it's just couple of days since he started the blog. It's not at all a big deal.

No, it's not viral. And visitor counts are useless without monetization/value per visitor data

I sure hope your blog doesn't end up were mine ended up. I bought a fairly new domain and in 6 months it was ranked 330k and getting several thousands visitors a day. and then overnight it got killed by penguin... now it doesn't go anywhere above 500 visitors/day...

Monetize from it till 6 months and then you can assess its actual worth.

100 visitors from Google is not "viral" lol

When you get 100k visitors/day, then you can talk.

See if you can optimize the site and make a profit, because otherwise non-profit sites don't sell for much on Flippa.

The fresh content boost is temporary. Monetize it before it fades.

To fetch a good buck for your site on Flippa, you need historical data. Two days is not enough for buyers to see the site's history just as a few hundred visitors is not viral traffic.

Best of success! :)

Viral is atleast 50K visitors per day .. I'd make it profitable site, looks like you got nice keyword :)

Sounds some nifty traffic you're getting (relatively speaking). I say do some more good SEO over the next few weeks - OnPage etc and then flip it yo'
