I use the Seoquake toolbar and I just checked the price on one of my autoblogs and it says it is worth just over $11,000.

When I click on the details (which goes to the semrush website) it also tells me that Estimated number of visitors coming from the first 20 search results of Goooogle in the US each month is 55,000 and that the SE traffic price (estimated cost of purchasing the same number of visitors would be $11,000)

Is the semrush website accurate? This blog is doing quite well, but it is just an autoblog on a .info domain.

well, compare the estimated traffic to the real traffic, and you will see the difference.also the value of the traffic is what you make of it.
The value of your site is around 6-12 month income.

Ok. Thanks. It does get over 2000 unique visitors a day, so the traffic may be accurate. But I guess it is worth what someone wants to pay for it really.

These types of sites that estimate your site values it anylize your site in alexa rank,Google PR,Yahoo inbound links,Backlinks etc.

So many factors then it will show your site value but it is estimation not exact value.

Try and sell it? If you get $11k, then yeah, that's what someone was willing to pay for it. If someone offers you $100, same as above.

...I wish they were real stats btw, I'd make a killing...

I don't understand how these websites pull up a figure just by traffic analyses. You can have tonnes of traffic, but if it isn't monitizable then it isn't worth much.

It all depends on where and whom you sell it. If your buyer is a newbie you can in fact convince him to shell out that kind of money.

Lets suppose you blog is worth $11000. But did you ever think who would buy you blog for that amount? Where would you sell it? What would you tell the buyer that how much money your blog is making you? It is not enough to show them that toolbar's estimate :)
Vituality doesn't matter until it is materialized :)

Hope this figures it out for you!

If you get 2000 unique visits a day from SE then i would say it's worth some money. However being an autoblog you will not get the same amount of money as it would be a website with unique content.

If you want to sale it. Just tune up the blog a bit , when you sale a car you do small modifications that will get you a lot of value when you sale it, same with websites. make sure you have G analytics , a click heat map , maybe a quick 'face lift' design, make a logo... etc

You can post your website on flippa and see how much you would get for it.
Usually if it's an adsense website you would get around 7-10 times your monthly income , however if you have some affiliate income on the website the value will rise a lot , and also if you don't get all your visits just to one page (visitors segmentation it's important) .

    hope this helped.

Half these replies don't make any sense.

How much does it earn a month?

I think it's just an estimate of the value of the website.

Honestly if the site is making $500.00 per month I would pay you between $3,000.00 and $6,000.00 depending on a few other things. That is really just a rough estimate.

The sites value really goes off of how much it is making and a few other things. If you are really interested in selling it, then throw it up on flippa.com and you can see how much people are willing to pay for it. If you have proof that it is making that much money I would think that it would sell for what I mentioned above.

Hope that helps you out. Also if you are looking to sell it, I think you should read more about flipping sites, so you can optimize your listing on flippa and get the most out of it.

EDIT - You should also PM above "meathead" and see if he would help you. I think he is the author of the site flipping bible and from what I have read it is a really good ebook/manual. He seems to really know what he is talking about.
