Is Monero completely dead now?

Haven’t really ever looked in to Crypto beyond BTC. Just looking in to it briefly again after a long time, it appears Monero has been delisted on all the major exchanges. Is that correct?

And if so, is there any other pricacy coin that has taken it’s place or are there any that are at least somewhat comparable? Last I gandered, which was ages ago, it did seem to perfectly examplify what crypto is all about.

I'm not holding XMR and I'm not a fan boy, but it's still the 28ª biggest coin, almost $3B marketcap, listed on Kucoin, Gate, Kraken, HTX and MEXC...right now it's not in its best days, but ''dead'' is a big exaggeration
 
no not dead at all, just a little bit more of a hassle. the fact they are delisting it just proves it's concept. i'm starting to see posts everywhere saying monero's design is actually what Satoshi intended, and it is, but does that mean it is time to buy monero and HODL?

then its far from dead, there are shitcoins top 20, listed everywhere with dead dev community, Monero has been around for years and widely used, you can also check on-chain data:

So Monero is not going anywhere. Just don't hodl it, use it on the go...
 
Monero is arguably the greatest crypto there is, why do you think governments are trying to ban it and get it delisted everywhere?

The greatest for privacy, thats its perk. Bitcoin maximalists claiming its private its pure bs, you can track every single transaction. Good luck doing that with Monero, its impossible.

Privacy is the most important thing in crypto. All this normie tech is leading us to losing ephemeral experiences. You don't trade something in the woods anymore without anyone else knowing. Now there's a magic cryptocurrency that doesn't even need you to know each other, just some randomly generated address, and people don't even care. Monero will hopefully soon reach the masses with all the world's federal money banks closing the leash tighter on their citizens. In the european central bank they are already discussing the idea of setting the base interest rate to -1% to sort of make peoples money expire after a while. Like you don't own your money anymore the government is leasing it to you. There's a certain beauty in the idea that not everything is meant to be recorded and that some moments can simply exist and fade away without leaving a permanent trace. Monero.
 
I don't understand why people are saying its dead.

Use Monero its a good utility token for privacy and Hold Bitcoin.
 
nowhere near dead, just look at the price, it's been in the $150-190 range for two years now. just a bit trickier to acquire than most coins. swap sites such as simpleswap.io can help you get it fast and easy with any other major crypto.

I was reading about Dash. Apparently it’s not even a true privacy coin?
 
At present, Monero is not traceable. However, it is probably only a matter of time and effort before change occurs.

dash is a classic shitcoin, i think 5 years ago it was widely used in Venezuela and look at their economy today.. classic pump and dump

Its sick they target this coin, but they did try BTC a lot too. Privacy you are supposed to have a right to in my country, the politicians forget that with their holy "Patriot Act". Commie scum need to be reeducated.
