Every cycle, we get new L2s claiming to be the next big thing. Faster, cheaper, more scalable. you know the drill, But most of them end up as just another EVM fork with minor tweaks. $MINT, though, is taking a different angle an L2 optimized for NFTs. I see it’s already on X , as gate , Bitget is set to list it

The NFT space is still clunky. High fees, lack of standardization, fragmented liquidity. it’s all a mess. If an L2 can actually solve that and make NFT infra seamless, there’s a real market for it. MINT is built on the OP Stack, has a growing user base, and is tied to the broader Ethereum ecosystem, so the fundamentals look solid. But let’s be real, good tech doesn’t always mean good price action.

So the question is, does MINT actually have long-term legs, or is it just riding post-testnet hype? By the way anyone mint their nft ?

This is a secondary narrative, people are way more interested in other narratives like AI, RWA and DeFi
NFT has bad reputation since 2021, many failed projects since then, I wouldn't invest much on it

Fair take, NFTs definitely took a hit post-2021, but narratives evolve. AI, RWA, and DeFi are hot now, but infra plays like $MINT could quietly build until the market shifts again.

It’s less about flipping JPEGs and more about fixing the mess NFT infra is in. If that gets solved, the next wave of adoption might look very different.

What practical utility do NFTs have in the current market context, given the prevalence of meme coins? Additionally, how can an L2 protocol operate on top of another L2 protocol’s stack? Does this configuration effectively constitute a Layer 3 (L3) protocol? Lastly, what consensus mechanism underpins the MINT protocol? This final question is of critical importance.

NFT has never been radar, I started showing interest when I heard $APE would be listed, that was the first NFT token work hard to get, I've been following this project for a while now and they have a solid community with lots of active users could be worth the hype, didn't know they would be listing till I saw this post and did a little research on my own and saw an event which would help me get more of the token. https://www.bitget.com/events/candy-bomb/detail/10965

You've got valid questions, but I believe you'd know more of mint here. https://x.com/Mint_Blockchain?t=jN55_TEuZAICPKHgSQ1Ckw&s=09. Their token just listed and price trend is good. Theres excitement though..

Figured out MINT. Rollup solution on main blockchain. Ethereum could've done that. L2s are stealing Vitalik's business. MINT's cool, but traders want memecoins and Pi Network scams.
I think it's the same everywhere, most people engage with these project not neccesarily becuase of its utility but because of how much they can get from it, and the ecosystem incentivises stuff like these.

Think about all the people that participated in the PoolX on Bitget and got about 823% of what they locked, and then think about the people that would hear them mention this, what do you think would be their priority?

Of course utility cannot be ignored, but I think a lot more people prioritise profit making.

Agree. Crypto's all about crazy profits, but high returns mean high scam risk. That's why Bitget dropped fast. Investors are catching on.
