Hello people! I was wondering if anyone is using microsoft onedrive? I'm thinking of using it to store my personal accounts, passwords, all the private and important datas etc but I just want to know how safe it is since they are using cloud storage. I am currently using openoffice but would like to switch to something more organized. Would like some input from people who have used it.

I think, as long as you don't save them in the public folder and you have a very secured password, it should be fine.

I hate the concept of "the cloud". Sure, trust some random datacenter with all your valuable files and information.

No, get some high-capacity flash drives, or maybe even an external hard drive. Encrypt it with an old version of TrueCrypt (the newer versions are compromised), and hide them somewhere safe. If you don't trust yourself with it, put it in a bank deposit box.

Help to protect your important files in OneDrive:

Create a strong password. Check the strength of your password

Add security informations to your Microsoft account. You can add details like your phone number, an alternate email address, and a security question and answer. That way, if you ever forget your password or your account gets hacked, also security informations to verify your identity and help you get back into your account. Go to the Security information page.

Use two-step verification. This helps protect your account by requiring you to enter an extra security code whenever you sign in on a device that isn't trusted.

What brucewayne90 said (coz he's batman) - strong password + two-step verification. But I would still distrust any cloud storage. Nothing's really safe online anymore. :)

Nothing is safe to be honest. Make all kinda verification if possible.

Hackers can hack anything. Although your computer isn't safe but online is a bit of a risk.
