Is Micro niche site a good investment?

I do not think so. I see some selling for $200-$300. You can get a website already earning some money with AdSense for that much easily.

Yes it's a good investment. Make sure to select mirco niches where there enough possibilities to generate a content.
If you can generate only 10 content in that niche, then don't go for it. If there is possibility to generate unlimited content on that micro niche, then go for it.

Minimum 50, max unlimited.
A friend of mine started a micro niche on juicer machine review site where he is stuck now. He can't publish any more content due to limitation. As a result, he can't update his site with new content to regain ranking.
So my advice will be to go for niches with unlimited content potential.

Everything is profitable if you have enough knowledge about it. It also depend on how much profit do you expect and how is your situation in life.
If you, for instance, have 2 hours per day available for your business, it is useful to know what income per week/month/year you expect and how long do you need to reach that amount.
